Our Location

Glacier River School is part of Great Northern Resort, located one mile from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. We are approximently 25 minutes from Glacier International Airport. Missoula is 2-2 1/2 hours south of us and Spokane 4-5 hours west. When traveling east on Highway 2 the resort is on the left side of the road across from Rawhide Out Post - you'll see the red caboose on the hill. Coming west you will pass our neighbor Glacier Heli Tours. Turn right onto the next driveway and join us for refreshments or lodging, rafting, fishing or kayaking. Our peak season begins in June and goes through August. For your convinence the office staff is available seven days a week.
